So i was in sydney for the weekend and went to visit my brother who had a few things for me that he was going to post earlier in the week but forgot too. he wouldnt tell me what they were but did i get a surprise when i opened the package...
apparently these songs were released on 'Remain on the fringe' Comp 7",
'trough boy' was also on a kangaroo records compilation 7"..
foldout
This was the other tape in the package, iv been looking hard for this for many years along with the demo tape that i only just got a hold of last week.. This is the live demo that was record in Newcastle 1997...

This is the A.V.O demo tape from 1998 numbered out of 5...

CANBERRA CITY HATECORE!
This demo has been on my most wanted list ever since i got into hardcore, 10 songs from Canberra's finest Forward Defence... As iv said in another post this was the first hc band i ever heard when i was about 12 when my brother gave me and my other brother the discography cd for xmas as he was the singer at the time and thought we might enjoy.. After FD the dudes moved onto such bands as AVO, Bulldog Spirit, The VeeBees & Bladder Spasms.

Also picked this up from ebay cause i enjoyed the 12" they put out titled 'Undisputed' on B9 records.. this tape is okay, definitely prefer the LP... Never the less it was a good find.

FORWARD DEFENCE
Forward Defence was the first hardcore band i ever listened too, i think i would of been about 12 when i got the discography cd from my brother on christmas 1998 as he was the singer of the band. I brought this 12" from Jay Blurter a few years ago now as he was the dude who put it out on Snapshot Records and had like 2 left under his bed...
