FIRST OFFENSE
Probably about a month or so ago now i was searching The Boston Strangler in google to see if i could find any more info about the LP that is being released sometime early next year on Fun With Smack Records and i stumbled upon a forum post about a promo tape that someone was after from a show they played in new york not too long ago. i had not heard anything about this tape until then and after hearing the 'primitive' track they put up i needed to find a copy. I eventually tracked down the bands singer Ban to see if he had any left or could put me onto anyone that might have a copy for sale, he didnt have any but put me on to the guitarist Cliff and i was lucky enough to score one of the last copies.

FEEL THE RAGE
I feel a bit weird posting about my own band on here but i finally have everything ready for the launch shows coming up this weekend and I'm pretty happy with how the new flexi turned out so i thought id share it with you dudes....
This is being put out by Coffin Cut Records over in Perth and for those of you who cant make it to any of the shows, most of this stuff will be up for sale on the CCR Bigcartel Saturday the 28th of May...
Here is the normal version of the flexi on clear, there is about /265 of these with this artwork done by our good friend Ado down in Melbourne.

And here we have the launch show flexi, there is /35 of these for the show on Saturday the 28th only. It has different artwork to the normal version that was done by our friend Norb who was living in Sweden at the time this art was done but is now back in Australia.

And this would be the test pressing... There is /23 of these made with the infest bootleg rip off artwork that i made in photoshop, you can see what copied HERE and HERE. As a normal test pressing would be the 'label' on the flexi is just left blank.

I also did a run of tapes on a small label i do called 'Rain On The Parade'. i did these for a back up plan in case something went wrong and we didn't have flexis in time for the launch show but everything went very smooth so we will just take these on tour and hopefully get rid of them, /50 only...
There will also be another run of /50 tapes (to start with) with different artwork etc that will be released by US label BEZERKER X RECORDS...

ANOTHER DAY IN THE LIFE
last month i was up at my brothers house in sydney picking up some stuff and lurking through his box of tapes trying to find something he would sell me haha. by the end of it he came to the conclusion he didnt want any of them and i could take them all (50+ tapes).. This was one of the tapes in the bunch i was pretty happy to score... I'll probably post some of the other tapes every now and then for you all to check out, but for now here is the
I dont know any details on the tape but its some kind of pre 12" release cause these 4 songs are the same as on the LP.. if anyone knows how many of these exist or anything let me know..
Demo tape release from one of sydney's newest addition Vigilante, they did a run of /100 themselves on cd-r for HARDCORE2010 (although they didnt play it) and probably their first show.. Cade from benchpress released this on his label 'No Policy', im not sure how many he did up but you can still probably grab a copy off him on fightthem@hotmail.com
Vigilante - Demo 2010
A couple of mates of mine play in this band, they started out early this year and have only played a handfull of shows and just recently put out this demo.. I finally went to check them out last week and they were fucking awesome! this is a sweet demo but doesn't justify watching them play these songs live.. Email them for a copy - Loveshy6969@gmail.com

THOUGH ENOUGH
Iv had this tape for a while now but just never got around to posting it. This would have to be my favourite release from Fed Up, the songs seem to be a lot more funner than the later stuff or something, i dunno i can't put my finger on it.. I'm waiting on the new 7" and have been told its pretty solid so ill just have to wait and see for myself. I think you can still maybe order this tape from True Violence On Tape...
