CRUSTIES FEAR

I've posted about this band/record on here a bunch of times before so im not gonna say much about it, i grabbed this from the guy who runs SFU Records after he had it up on ebay about a month back, i did throw a bid down but didn't end up winning. Lucky enough though he sent me an email the next day asking if i just wanted to buy one from him, so thats exactly what i did.

RECKLESS BOYS

A couple of mates of mine play in this band based out of melbourne, they were all in pretty awesome bands previous to RA except meatdog, i think this might be his 1st band? anyways they released a demo themselves back in mid 2010 or something and played a handful of shows. after the demo got out and about - i think it was someone from Urban Blight? who also did Combat Action Tapes did a run of 200 more demos for them cause the band only did a small run and everyone wanted one... i hear those 200tapes sold out in something crazy like 5-7 days! i heard A LOT of talk about this being the demo of the year and in every forum i was on, every HC blog i was reading it seemed like someone was talking about this band or the demo.

Six feet Under Records decided it was good enough for 7", so here we have it - the Reckless Aggression demo on 7".. Black vinyl, different artwork to the OG demo tape, /500. In my opinion this was one of the best demos of 2010 and im glad to now own it on vinyl - 8 originals and an awesome 4 Skins cover. i very much doubt you havent heard of this band by now or dont own a download of it, but if you have been living under a rock for the past few months i suggest you get ahold of it somehow.

WE'VE GOT TO FIGHT, TO MAKE THINGS REAL

Here we have the latest 7" from Massachusetts Vaccine, 10 fast as fuck songs rounding up to something crazy like 4 minutes and 14 seconds. if you like your hc fast and to the point i recommend you check these guys out if you haven't already.

I grabbed the black vinyl from Painkiller Records and the limited Red version from eBay.

Vaccine - Human Hatred
- /418 black vinyl & /203 red vinyl -

Nice big foldout

And the new 7" from Knife Fight also on Painkiller Records, this is pretty different to the early stuff i think, not that its a bad thing but id still prefer listening to the s/t.. These guys are doing an Australian tour in DEC, pretty keen to check them out!

Knife Fight - Isolated

Black vinyl /1000 Big fold out.. Not heaps keen on this artwork, iv seen worse though.. Other side w/ lyrics. i couldnt get a good photo of this
with my camera on my phone but you get the idea

Iv had this one for a while now but just didnt get a chance to post it.. i dont think i need to say a great deal about this record, its one of the best releases of the 80s and was recently reissued by Bridge 9 Records..

Antidote - Thou Shalt Not Kill Green vinyl /300
Bit of history
Lyrics
This is the Reckless Aggression cassette demo that was just recently released on Combat Action Tapes in the states, i blogged about this a while back with the self release of this the band did if you wanna check it out HERE.

Reckless Aggression - Demo
- Combat Action Tapes -
Its the exact layout as the self release but
with a better looking tape and a pro printed insert on card.
And finally this DYS hat i scored from B9, pretty sure these sold out real fast.

BLOOD ON THE STREETS!

A few things that arrived late last week that i didn't get a chance to post..
First off is the Reckless Aggression demo tape that Meatdog sent to me... 9 pissed off songs in the style of negative approach and early agnostic front. Dudes in the band also play in Bulldog Spirit and Life's Fate

Artwork by front-man Allan Meatdog Cowie

Next up is the 'Extort' demo from florida's Nazi Dust.. I dont really need to say much about this band as everybody seems to be balls deep into them.. This looks like a self release to me or someone just bootlegged it, im not too sure? so if anyone can fill me in that would be sweet

Just a few more colours of 'Rush Of Hope' on RED & YELLOW to add too my True Colors collection.. this lot is on 'Six Feet Under Records'
Last show flyer
id probably kill a dude to go to this show.

Most people that look at this blog would have no idea who Vanilla Muffins are or even get into them, they play a style called 'Sugar Oi!' which is nice and catchy with good sing a longs. I dig this band a lot and pretty much everything they have released...
